Story
We're Norwich FoodHub, a social enterprise that works to save surplus, edible food from being thrown away and make sure that it can be provided to those that need it most instead.
Over the last year, we saved almost 70 tonnes of edible food from the bin by collecting surplus food from local supermarkets and businesses around Norwich. We used that food to help the equivalent of 150,000 meals be provided to people across the city, through our network of nearly 30 partner charities and community groups, who provide vital and valuable support to people in need.
Our aim is to help the equivalent of another 150,000 meals reach our partners over 2023, which would mean that we'll have redistributed the equivalent of over half a million meals in our first five years.
