I've raised £5000 to Help Nottingham Elder's forum which is an independent, voluntary organisation for anyone aged 50+ living within the Nottingham City.

The Nottingham Elders' Forum is a young, vibrant, non-political, proactive, independent voluntary organisation, run by its members, for its members. All officers of the Forum are volunteers.
The Nottingham Elders' Forum was formed to create a mechanism to ensure the voices of older people are heard, and their needs and aspirations are acted upon, when decisions are being made about current and future services that affect them.
The Forum will endeavour to co-operate, consult and contribute when policies are being made that affect older people, but we will continue to confront and challenge where these policies would adversely affect the elderly.
The Forum is not affiliated or financed by any other organisation, council or government body, and as it does not charge older people to be members, has to find various means of funding which is especially hard in today's financial climate.
The Forum, which has over 2,300 members - and this is increasing daily - aims to encourage older people to share their views, raise concerns and influence policy and decision makers.
The elderly represent over 25% of the population of the City of Nottingham.
