I've raised £2000 to Help fund a Zen Buddhist Dojo in Nottingham

We are trying to create Zen Buddhist dojo in Nottingham. A place where people can come and learn the practice of zazen meditation, hear the teaching of the Buddha and be a part of a supportive Buddhist community which is completely open to everyone, no matter their circumstances. We rely completely on donations to do this and it makes it is very hard for us to establish a new permanent place of practice. We started the group a year ago and have been running the Nottingham Zen Group from a private house in Arnold, Nottingham once a week but we are no longer going to be able to do this for much longer.
We are trying to raise the funds to be able to afford to rent a small room just outside of the Nottingham City centre for a year so that we can open up this practice to the people of Nottingham several days a week and be able to run workshops and Zen days with a view to being able to establish a Zen Buddhist community which can become self supporting and keep the Buddha's teachings and the Zen Buddhist practice available to everyone in Nottingham.
Thank you for your kindness.
