Story
The Blind eye soup run project started in October 2017 with a small team of volunteers that felt the homeless issue of Nottingham needed more attention and wanted to make a difference. Our team walk the streets of Nottingham at 7:30am on Sunday mornings to meet the rough sleepers with porridge pots, hot drinks, clothing donations, biscuits, dog food and support them if they need to find other support. We currently go out twice a month but we hope to increase the number of volunteers enough to be able to go out every week.
Big thanks to Gary Prail for choosing us as his charity for the event.
Donations will be spent on the supplies mentioned above Thank you for taking the time to read our story, If you would like to know more about what we do or even wish to volunteer to join one of our teams, please visit us on facebook
