No Waste Food Space is a non-profit community group. Our long-term goal is to help the planet and the people. We just want to play a small part in the global food waste crisis. All our food packages are FREE.

We care, we share and together we can make a difference.

At the moment we currently collect surplus food 5 evenings a week from Marks & Spencer's and CO-OP. We then create food packages for people prioritising vulnerable people. This is an Non-Profit community organisation wanting to take the leap to become a charity, we've helped thousands of people in the 6 months we've been established saved 5.3 tonnes of CO2 saved and saved over 3000 meals. As we grow and create more relationships we're struggling to get the equipment we need as up to now we're using our own vehicle which means we have to make multiple journeys and use our own money.

We want to get a van, one years worth of insurance and kit for our van to go out and serve the community which means we will travel and be able to deliver this much needed food for our vulnerable people. If we have any further funds left we'll be using this to show we can fundraise and help us on our journey to becoming a registered charity.

A background about us, there is two Co-Founders;

Sarah 32 is the brains of the operation who created this whole idea and is the face of the community group.

Luke 32 who is in the background running about collecting and creating our website.

We have two children Adam 12 who is Autistic and Katie 3 who is Sarah's miniature.

We've obtained our domain www.NoWasteFoodSpace.co.uk which is currently getting made as we're learning and doing it.

Our long-term goal is to provide support for people throughout Leeds and surrounding areas including food package deliveries including school holiday packages.

We'd love to do pop up venues around Leeds.
