Its has been a great honour to be part of the Management Team for the NRA Team to the Channel Islands in May 2023.

The NRA team is regarded as a development squad for future GB shooters, and indeed is very successful in this regard. This is a fantastic opportunity for shooters of all age, gender and background, one which demonstrates the inclusivity of our great sport . The team is a mix of ages, from 19 to 65, although predominantly under 25 and from all over the country. You can see the list here:

The team tours both Jersey and Guernsey for nearly two weeks, and has matches against both Islands. Shooting is taken VERY seriously by the Islanders, who are remarkably good at it, possibly because nobody lives more than half-an-hour from the range! Therefore, the more training and support the NRA team can get, the more we can put up a fight for the silverware!

A tour like this is costly and we receive very little subsidy. We have having been trying various methods of fundraising to support our team, as the total cost of the tour will be £25,000+ and every penny counts. Any support that can be provided by family & friends, the shooting community and any other supporters of helping development sport will be so gratefully received!
