Newton St Cyres Young Farmers' Club walk and run to every club in Devon!

Due to the virus, Newton St Cyres Young Farmers' Club have been unable to go ahead with their original (and exciting) fundraising plans for this year. Instead, they have come up with a different idea - something that they can still do during lockdown. Next week (beginning 1st June), past and present members of this club will be walking and running 400 miles to raise money for their three chosen charities for this year: Devon Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK and The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I.). You may be wondering, 'why 400 miles?' - this is the distance to travel between every young farmers' club in Devon!

We are creating an event on Facebook which will offer daily updates of our progress throughout the week (link to come!).

When we complete this at the end of next week, we will be challenging other young farmers' clubs within Devon to have a go too. We hope that this will spread across the county to raise lots of much-needed funds for charities.
