    Story

The Norfolk Summer Deaf Festival is the only festival in the Eastern region celebrating deaf people's achievements, showcasing new technology for the deaf/hard of hearing and providing access to information for deaf people. We aim to bring the community together, show deafness in a positive light, increase understanding of deaf people and have some serious fun in the process. Next year we are planning to make the festival a 2 day event! If you believe in equal rights for deaf people and want to make the festival happen again next year, please donate. See our facebook page @norfolkdeaffestival for all we have been up to.

The Norfolk Summer Deaf Festival is organised by a committee of deaf and hearing people who want to help raise deaf awareness. We work together to deliver a festival that promotes equal access to information, celebrates deaf culture and highlights deaf people's achievements.
