Northern Tamil Association (NTA) is a non-political, non-profitable cultural organisation for Tamil people living in the northern part of England and Wales and whole of Scotland. We are a secular association and our objective is to promote Tamil language and culture. We have also contributed to various social causes in UK, Srilanka and India.

NTA would like to engage with the Tamil community during this coronavirus pandemic in a positive way.

We would to reach the Tamil families with a wide variety of topics and events ranging from awareness about the virus, public health guidance, mental well-being, and Tamil language and cultural activities.

We are planning a series of online events via Zoom. These events do not attract any entrance fee. The first one will be on 2nd May 2020 between 3-4pm BST. The second will be on the same time on 9th May 2020.

NTA is keen to support the needy people by various charity activities. The money raised from this fund raising will be spent in providing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to the frontline health care workers and also to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable people both in UK and abroad.
