The Gap - is a production by 14 writers, 9 directors, 31 actors - with 8 acts; it is a journey, of yellow lines, gaps and stepping over - themed around relationships, it explores crossing boundaries to be the wonderful real you. It deals with drug abuse, suicide, grief, media addiction, oppression and identity, questioning, portraying the harm and loss, and finding the path through - crossing the gaps and finding a way through.

Our completely inclusive production company includes anyone who loves the arts, anyone who wants to act get and has commitment gets free workshops and opportunities to audition, our writers are supported in free writing groups and we take their work through to filming or staging (or a mixture of both like The Gap) . This is our first amazing performance, collaborating every step of the way, bringing new writers, directors and actors through to heights and depths, ultimately leading our audiences to an uplifting, changed destination with hope. Film Production and Performing Arts started as a Meetup and has a committed multi national team of 5 organisers with different capabilities, who compliment each others strengths.

This production has educative aspects and reaches out to young people - to warn of the real dangers of 8 different situations they may encounter in their young (or aging) lives.

We are also developing educational resources to show teenagers there is always a way through, to a better place and addictions destroy life, hope and relationships.

£2,800 will enable us to run the show for 4 days and 5 performances - reaching out to people who need to be able to see their lives and relationships differently - to be their wonderful selves, in the company of wonderful others!

We really need someone to see that this production, and this production company / charity is changing lives and stretching the ways in which performance is created, managed and staged - for optimum immersion and transformation in the audience.
