This July I will be taking my first trip to Uganda to volunteer and help my friend's mission in providing 30,000 re-usable pads to the less fortunate young girls in Africa.

It broke my heart knowing that young girls were having to miss out on school when starting their monthly cycle due to not having access to proper menstrual products. The ones who do go to school use unsanitary cloths and other items that can cause them serious infections.

I cannot imagine the difficulties they face as this is something you cannot control. Therefore I have made it my mission to do what I can, whilst I can to help.
