Story

A 'Giving back' event

On Sunday 3rd June, Watch Manager Neil Fox of the Green Watch at Sidcup Fire Station has arranged for 35 elderly residents to travel by coach to Eastbourne for the day. This will be the third year in a row that the Firefighters have organised this special event.

Please donate anything you can for this 'giving back' event. £1, £2, £5, £10... every penny counts.

We will be singing songs from the 40's 50's and 60's on the coach on our way to Eastbourne. First stop will be Fish and chips and a cuppa, followed by a stroll along the beach and maybe an ice cream! later in the afternoon we have arranged a visit to the bandstand where we can sit and enjoy the music before heading back on the coach. It's an amazing day for elderly residents who don't see people for days and even weeks on end.
