A team of 40 enthusiastic year 10 and 11 students from Oathall Community College are once again visiting The Gunjur Project in The Gambia to make a difference to the community and learn about their culture. We will be helping out in schools, organise sports events and visit homes among many other exciting adventures.

The money we are raising will go towards shipping out essentials such as reusable nappies, school supplies, shoes and reusable water bottles. Whilst we're there, we will also take food supplies to families in need: one sack of rice costs £43 and will feed a family a month. In the past, we have also sponsored children for a year of schooling, bought an oven for a community kitchen and supported a student through teacher training.
