RAMADAN RELIEF - £50 Provides A Syrian Family With Iftaar For 2 Weeks!
Fasting in a Syrian refugee camp is not easy. Despite the harsh living conditions, the expected long days, and hot weather, a majority of refugees – including pregnant women and young children – pledge that they will fast. “Our faith is all we have left and we are not going to give that up too,” says Zaida, a Syrian mother of three young boys. She insists her eldest son, aged seven, will fast too.
The least we can do is to try and offer them some Ramadan Relief by sponsoring an Iftaar parcel which will provide a Syrian family with Iftaar for 2 weeks
“Whomsoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his (for his fasting), without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” (Tirmidhi)
Any money raised after Ramadan will go to the Saving Syria Campaign,
