Story

Do we fight or do we fly, do they live or do they die. This is the choice that lies ahead and all depends on you.

Oeh foundation has been successful at saving difficult dogs from a lifetime of misery and performing little short of a miracle by working with them to get them where they are suitable for rehoming.

Falcon & Meekah (picture) Now we have the chance of a lifetime to save many more, but we cannot do it without you.

The kennels that I and other rescues have used for a number of years shuts it doors for the final time at the end of December.

The owners, Pieter and Helen are retiring, but do not want the kennels to just shut down when, there are so few kennel rescue spaces available in the UK.

So to not only be able to keep my existing OEH Foundation dogs safe and with a roof over their heads, but to offer kennel spaces for other rescue’s dogs, I am hoping with your help to take over the running of the kennels, which will then become a not for profit rescue resource centre.

I can take the easy way out and give up or I can step up and take the kennels on. This is a huge responsibility and not entered into lightly, but will ensure the safety of god knows how many dogs in the future.

To keep the kennels open means costs:- paid kennel staff taking the lions share of the costs, but also, rates, Food, Electricity, insurance, laundry, cleaning costs and of course vet bills. So this is where you come in.

We need to get at least one months costing up front to make this happen. That’s £4000. OEH will cover £1000 of this cost which leaves £3000 to raise.

So if you want to be part of giving these desperate dogs a chance to be loved and a new beginning and put a warm glow in your heart press the donate button and enter an amount big or small it all counts to savings lives. Thank you for reading.
