Old Tree Plant Nursery is a gem just outside Wolverhampton with an abundance of natural spaces to let children run wild and learn about the environment.

The site needs to maintain and improve it's visitor numbers to secure it's future and plans to create an Animal Education Centre which allows the public to get up close to learn about animals and their habitats. It will provide opportunities for schools and group visits, children's parties and seasonal events throughout the year for everyone to enjoy. It will also help to secure one of Wolverhampton's few natural spaces.

Old Tree Nursery plays a big part in many people's lives and especially the lives of adults with learning difficulties who assist in running the site on a daily basis. Vulnerable adults often leave school with very few options to move forward, Old Tree is one of the few places where they can continue to offer their services to the community and feel secure in a work place.

The funds will be spent on creating an educational visitor attraction on an area of the site. Funds are needed for ground works, creating an educational space/ outdoor classroom, animal enclosures, safe pathways and interactive equipment.
