My name is Olga, and I’m proud to call both Ukraine and Scotland home. I came to Edinburgh after the war changed everything, but my heart is with my family, my friends and my people, who are doing their best to survive with so little. That’s why I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon 2026: to raise money for Kalyna and Thistle, an Edinburgh-based charity that’s very close to my heart. They collect donations - money, clothes, blankets, essentials - and send them directly to Ukrainians in need. They bring hope to those who have lost so much. Please help me support their work.
