Oli has been playing power chair football for Brighton and Hove Albion regionally for 5 years and nationally for the last 2. However he now needs to get a new strike force custom built chair from America. Many international teams have already been using these but the English Wheelchair Football Association have only allowed them to be used from this season onwards.
A couple of the Brighton players have already been able to purchase these and it is evident that they are far superior than the old style chair that Oli currently uses.
If Oli wishes to continue to develop his game and compete nationally for Brighton in the sport that he thoroughly enjoys, we need to try and get him this chair.
Any help would be greatly appreciated weather it is in the form of a donation of any size or advice/an idea of anything we or anyone can do to help with the fundraising.
We are also running a fundraising event at The Libertine in Worthing on Friday 14th October from 5pm. It will be great if any if you could join us. There will also be a raffle at the event with some great prizes.
