Sepsis affects thousands of families every year in the UK alone. Every 3.5 seconds someone dies from sepsis (worldwide). Every year in the UK more people die as a direct result of sepsis than breast cancer, prostate cancer and bowell cancer COMBINED. Later last year a five year old girl, Ava, who had down syndrome was taken to hospital by her family and was diagnosed with a common cold... 2 days later the doctors rediagnosed her with sepsis but it was too late, she died that same day. The terrible thing is that all it takes to treat is an antibiotic injection. Please donate to help us print off posters to help spread awareness for such an under-reported issue.
