Mini Exiles is a part of Ipswich Exiles Football club founded by Eric Dickson. At Mini Exiles we provide football coaching for 4 to 7 year olds and are totally self funded. Myself and Matt Carley as two of the coaches will be taking on the Ipswich Half Marathon to try and raise enough money so we can provide the players with tracksuit tops and better equipment which can be used during our training sessions.
On top of this we will also be splitting any money raised and donating this to the chosen Charity of Eric Dickinson's Family. As many of you know Eric suffered a Stroke a few years back and after giving so much time to Exiles as a club we would like to show some support back to him and his family from the youngest section of the club, a club that he ran almost single headedly so successfully over 50 years. The Charity chosen by Eric's Family is St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich.
