I've raised £250 to provide food for the rescued elephants at Tree Tops Elephant Reserve in Phuket.

My name is Oliver and I am 7 years old.
I can't go to school at the moment due to the lockdown so I have decided I want to use the time to do something good.
I recently visited Tree Tops Elephant Reserve in Phuket with my family and I got to spend time with the wonderful elephants that live there.
Since we visited I keep in touch with the elephants and they send me pictures so I know what they are doing each day.
When I found out they don't have enough food because people can not visit them at the moment it makes me sad and I wanted to do something to help.
That is why I have decided I am going to walk 20km over the next 5 days to raise money to help feed my elephant friends!
Here is a bit more about Tree Tops Elephant Reserve:
The reserve provides a sanctuary for elephants that have suffered from working long hard hours in the logging industry or being forced to give rides or perform in shows for tourists across Thailand. Tree Tops provides the elephants with the chance of a new life where they are able to roam freely across the reserve, exploring the jungle and behaving just like elephants should. Tree Tops also offers an ethical alternative for those visitors to Thailand that want to see elephants allowing visitors to observe these wonderful animals in a natural environment. The reserve relies soley on visitors to provide enough funds to look after the elephants, however due to the global Covid-19 crisis they have been forced to close to guests for the foreseeable future meaning they are struggling to find the £600 per elephant per month needed just to be able to feed them.
All the money raised will go directly to provide food for the 7 beautiful elephants at Tree Tops so any donations big or small will help to make a real difference!
Thank you.
