In July 2022 I will be travelling with a small team of students from my school, to Borneo. I will spend time living in and working within rural communities on local initiatives to support redevelopment and reforestation. I will also spend time undertaking conservation work to help the endangered orangutans and sunbears.

This will be a fantastic life experience with none of the comforts of home.

I will also embark on a 3 day hike in the jungle foothills of Mount Kinabalu and will be camping, and cooking with my fellow students for ourselves, as well as connecting with the locals and learning about their lives.

To raise funds towards this expedition I am undertaking a number of fundraising activities this year towards my total target of £3225.

I am asking you to sponsor me to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge in Spring/Summer 2021 (covid restrictions allowing - if restrictions do not permit this to take place I will walk the same distance locally). The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and any support is greatly appreciated.
