Story

With the help of camps international and two teachers from his school, Oliver will be doing a months expedition working with a few communities in East Africa. Here's is a little bit from Camps International website to show what he will be doing out there:

The greatest challenge facing Malawi is poverty. Most people don’t have access to clean water, proper sanitation, health care or adequate educational facilities. Our community projects focus on improving the standard of living for the local people. You could be working on building classrooms, school desks or water tanks. In addition to our community projects you’ll also get stuck into our environment and wildlife projects, which tackle deforestation and pollution.

For Oliver he will not just be making a positive impact on the lives of others but also on himself. This gives Oliver the opportunity to be independent and gain many aspects of life experience that he will not be able to achieve here in the UK. It will teach him that he is capable of making a difference to the lives of others and that there are no limits to what can be achieved by anyone even those who have extra struggles or disabilities.

With every penny he raises you will be helping to give funds directly to those in East Africa who need so much help to have better education, water supplies, food and an improved quality of life.

Oliver will be donating not only financially and with the work he does but he will also be donating his clothes and other items out of his kit that are in demand in Malawi.

So please give as much as you possibly can to help him achieve his goal so we can give as much as we can to this great cause.
