Oliver was born with the imbilicle cord wrapped round his neck him 3 times. This caused him to be starved of oxygen and bleeding on the brain. Whilst in intensive care Oliver developed hydrcephalus due to the bleed, so had a shunt permanently fitted to drain the excess fluid on the brain. Oliver has daily medicine to control his severe epilepsy. He currently attends a school for the sight impaired, where his teachers say he loves looking at the bubble tube.
