I woke up to a knock on the door from a neighbour who found my black cat under her window. . He had tried to make it home but couldnt. He collapsed with a broken pelvis, broken foot and tail. She had taken him straight to the vets. I rushed to see him and his temp and blood pressure was dangerously low. His tail was seperated and needs amputating from the pelvis. His anus is damaged inside and outside. He was catheterised as he cant pass urine but thats now removed and we have to express his bladder for him. He had his eyes open and meowed when i visited him but is drugged up to ease his pain. He has had scans and an xray and needs more. He is very poorly and will need a long recovery. The driver didnt stop. He was so brave trying to make it home and his beloved brother was found next to him comforting him. His nails are all ripped from presumably dragging himself home. He is home now on crate rest for 6 weeks for the breaks to heal and on lots of medication. His insurance wont cover all the treatment ( mainly the tail amputation (£600) and blood tests every few days to see of his low red blood cells improve. so im asking for help as i have no savings.
