Hi all. my school is running a biology trip to Indonesia in the Summer of 2019, and it's a volunteering trip to work in the rainforest (I'm assuming), costing about £3000, plus extra for those justigiving fees. Even though I've never been on a school trip this expensive, or a school trip abroad (unless you count Wales) I'm generally lucky that my parents have paid my school trip fees. I never had the experience of fundraising for my own school trip aNd I came to the conclusion that I will raise 1/2 (circa £1500) and my parents will pay the other half. I will be doing specific sponsored things to do this. if by some miracle, I raise more than half, it will either go toward paying my parents back to the other half of the school trip, or go into my travel fund for me to travel the world (maybe in a gap year). In the event I decide not to go (I only know it's Indonesia and voluntee I don't know what we'll be doing) the money will go toward me travelling the world. And maybe publishing a photo book of the photos I take around the world. Or camera equipment. But basically it'll go toward funding my passions of travel and photography.
