Hello 😊, I’m Olivia Marsden and I have been fortunate enough to of been accepted to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree 2019 in North America as a member of ‘Unit 28’.

This life changing opportunity will allow me to unite with 75,000 young people, who are also members of the scouting movement, from 216 different countries on a 13 mile campsite🏕 in the mountains of West Virginia, USA to have the time of our lives 🎉. During our adventure we will experience the different cultures of the world and make new friends... We can swing across 9.5 miles of ‘go-ape’ ropes, climb one of the world’s largest man made climbing walls and many more amazing activities. And this is simply a glimpse of what we will be doing as while we are there we will also be going to explore the sights of Washington or New York and stay with family, who are a part of the movement, in one of the host countries (North America, Canada or Mexico)!!

Not only will your donation allow me to embark on this adventure next summer but it will also allow those who are less fortunate, from countries of lower wealth, to join me in this once in a lifetime opportunity. This is because of the scouting movement’s well respected morals in which they aim to support all young people, no matter of their origin, develop physically, spiritually and mentally.

In order to attend this I have the immense challenge to be able to fund raise £3800 and I would greatly appreciate any donation you could generously give to help fund me on my journey as even the smallest amount will go a long way.
