I've raised £1000 to make my sport Lacrosse more accessible through either playing, coaching or officiating to combat physical and mental wellbeing.

On 14th April, I am walking The Yorkshire 3 Peaks, which is 24 miles long, in under 12 hours.
After playing and enjoying netball, touch rugby, cricket and swimming, I was exposed to Lacrosse 18 months ago when starting a new school in the UK at the age of 10. I fell in love with this unique sport and have been lucky enough to play for my school, a club and now for my county. I have also been able to volunteer at a Sixes tournament at a European level.
I love Lacrosse because it is an outdoor sport played on grass fields where everyone has to play as a team. Lacrosse is a running, throwing, catching sport that can be played by anyone, anywhere. I have benefited from Lacrosse through the friendships made through playing as a team, but also through the mental and physical health it has brought me, not least the confidence Lacrosse has given me.
Lacrosse is one of nine sports that have been invited by Los Angeles 2028 to present their case for inclusion at the Olympics. Some of my passion of lacrosse is the possibility of going to the Olympics.
Aside from this, just keeping children, particularly girls involved in sport during adolescence is really good for their physical and mental well being, as it encourages a healthy outdoors lifestyle, relationships built on teamwork, understanding of healthy eating and builds confidence.
I would love lacrosse to be played by everyone and hence am raising money for a charity dedicated to supporting and growing the game of lacrosse across Great Britain.
