In June 2017, I will be visiting the Volta region of Ghana to act as one of the vital volunteers required at the schools in low income areas. The school provides food and education for kids living in desperate poverty who would otherwise not receive anything. With issues such as under-staffing and poorly maintained buildings, the support of volunteers is vital in the running of the school.
I will be involved in construction support, teaching assistance and sports coaching.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and my chance to give something back to others who are not as lucky I am.
