I have decided to participate in a school programme called World Challenge to Vietnam & Laos in 2020. World Challenge is an organisation that gives young people the opportunity to travel to developing countries, explore the cultures and customs of the area, take part in a high altitude trek and gain global citizenship skills by supporting local community-based projects. Past projects have included building wells and classrooms for village schools; building facilities for orphanages & conservation projects to protect endangered wildlife and habitats.

I need to raise around £4500 to fund my entire expedition. I am doing this by organising fundraising activities such as cake sales, dinner evenings, and quiz nights (do let me know if you would like to attend these), as well as a walk in the Spring along the local Ridgeway.

I will keep you up to date, and post regular blogs and tweets on my trip, so that you can see how your support has made a difference to people in Vietnam & Laos who do not have the luxuries and everyday utilities that we often take for granted.

Any donations, no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated and go towards paying for my expedition.
