I've raised £250 to help to fund a sports project to help people with learning difficulties and disabilities get involved in football in their local area

I will be entering the Winter Wolf Run in November, it is a 10km run through Woods, Obstacles, Lakes and Fields , it is notoriously difficult and will be very cold. This is to help raise money for a local charity called Our Way Self Advocacy. Our Way work with people in the community who have learning difficulties and disabilities. They aim to empower members to have their say on the things that matter to them, giving them a platform to express themselves.
Through different activities the charity engage with members. The charity is a non profit organisation and so donations are gratefully received. I will be aiming to support Our Way Sports Project, because the Football program Our Way run is helping lots of people in the community. Our Way Sports run football sessions for people with disabilities and learning difficulties, from the ages of 10 onwards.
They teach football skills, as well as transferable skills such as communication, problem solving and team work. It's an all round a very worthy cause and it's one I completely buy into. That's why I have chosen Our Way Self Advocacy as my charity.
