We are looking for some help towards funding a Simba Wheelchair for our son Ollie. Ollie is almost 3 years old, he was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, he isn't able to stand or walk and requires a wheelchair to support his independence. Ollie currently has a baby wheelchair (ZipZac) but he has now out grown this. Ollie is due to start nursery in September and by having a Simba Wheelchair it will enable him to access the setting and be able to join in with all the activities with the other children independently. Ollie has the skills to use the Simba Wheelchair already and we feel the quicker we get this for him the more he will develop his independence and confidence. We were hoping to fund this ourselves but all our savings have been used buying a new house which is suitable to be adapted for Ollie's needs.
