I've raised £15000 to Raising money for Ollie's necessary cancer treatment

My best friends Rodney and Sacha’s 13-year-old son, Ollie, was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer on the 28th October 2019. He was admitted to hospital after visiting his GP with symptoms of headaches.
Following a number of admissions to the Royal Marsden hospital, on 8th November 2019, Ollie and his family were given the devastating news that his cancer was terminal. The NHS had exhausted its resources and concluded that there was nothing more it could do.
But there’s still hope. A specialist medical service that works with terminally ill cancer patients has offered a lifeline. The doctors believe that Ollie’s cancer can be treated with private care and specialist medication that would not be offered to NHS patients.
Rodney and Sasha, who have both been out of work since Ollie’s diagnosis to look after him, have unlimited hope yet limited funds when it comes to affording the necessary treatment that Ollie needs.
Three treatments, which need to be paid for privately, are all that’s in the way of Ollie having a fighting chance of beating cancer and for life to return to normal again for the Card Family. We need to raise a minimum of £12,000 in order unlock this treatment for Ollie. Put simply, if 600 people could give just £20 each, we would raise the necessary amount of money for Ollie’s vital treatment.
Throughout this journey, we have learned that there is hope for cancer patients who have been given terminal diagnosis’, but it comes at a cost. The money we raise will go directly towards Ollie’s treatment. Anything more we can collect will go towards other children who are in the same situation of not being able to afford private treatment in order to help eliminate cancer.
Together, we can help to stamp out cancer from Ollie and other children’s lives. Thank you!
