Story

Siblings Ollie and Amelia have been diagnosed with CNL2Battens Disease. A very rare neurodegenerative condition which affects the brain and nervous system. Batten Disease is always fatal. There is no cure. There is however a treatment that will slow down the progression of the disease and improve a child's quality of life. Ollie's Army spent years fighting for this treatment which is now available for Ollie, Amelia and all children diagnosed with Battens in the UK. Early diagnoses is vital to give the children the best quality of life.

Eleanor, Sarah & Maria want to support Ollie's Army in their campaign to raise awareness in order to get these children the treatment they need sooner rather than later.

To do that we have decided to travel almost five thousand miles to run the Dubai Marathon! We are hoping to raise as much awareness as possible on the journey and whilst running the 42 kilometer course. We would like to ask for your help & sponsorship to fund the awareness campaign as well as fund much needed equipment that Ollie & Amelia need daily to live a comfortable life.

We understand this comes just after Christmas & we appreciate whatever you can give. Every little goes a long way

Thank you Eleanor, Sarah & Maria
