Story

On 4th August this year I will be running the Dunoon half marathon. This will be the biggest running challenge I have ever done. I’m doing it to raise money for Olly’s Wee Bothy, a local charity that provides accommondation for families after the loss of a child.

The charity was set up in memory of Olly Jones, who was tragically killed in a local road accident shortly after leaving his school bus in August 2016.

The long term goal for the bothy is to build a refuge, respite and renewal in the Argyll countryside.....a bothy. Olly was a fun loving energetic, outdoors kind of boy and the charity seeks to follow his spirit in the way it raises money.
