Adam is 16 year of age and lives with his mum and Dad in Newcastle. Adam has developmental delay and is registered severely sight impaired.

Adams garden is not safe for him to go out in as it's on different levels and is very uneven. He would love to be able to go in the garden, enjoy the fresh air and feel safe in his own surroundings. Adam is a little shy with obvious learning difficulties but has managed to communicate his ideas well. His partial sight means that he needs a flat garden but he'd like some space to sit and eat outside with plants he could smell. His Mum would like to include vegetables and his Dad would appreciate a garden shed to keep any equipment safely.

His Mum and Dad have worked hard at trying to clear the garden but there is still much to do.

We will be helping to improve the garden in October and are keen to raise additional funds to help Adam realise his dreams of enjoying the fresh air in safety.
