Olton Tavern Bowling Club is a crown green bowling club, situated behind the public house on Lode Lane, Solihull, B92 8NU. We aim to foster a strong supportive community where people can come together, stay active and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a sports club.

Why are we raising money?

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support in raising funds to help pay for a new mower – an essential piece of equipment. Having modern efficient machinery will ensure that we can continue to provide an excellent playing surface for bowlers of all ages and abilities and will secure the long term future of the club which has been in existence for 75 years.

We are fortunate in having secured a grant from Birmingham Airport Community Fund for part of the cost, but it is dependent upon us raising the balance over the next two years.

How can you play your part?

As an individual donor, making a pledge here today allows you to support a key community group within the local area which is offering a valuable outlet for community well-being. You will help us to realise our ambitions of growing and improving our club, enabling us to introduce crown green bowls to a wider audience.

As a business donor, there are a number of benefits and opportunities. Donating today affords you the chance to promote your support of our club to your own prospective customers, thereby enhancing your own business profile. We are grateful for any amount, large or small, but for donations over £150 we can provide the opportunity to advertise your business to members of the local community with a board or banner at the side of the green for a 12 month period.
