I've raised £10000 to help us to pay for the general running costs of the organisation as well as contribute to providing free food for kids during term holidays

Olu’s Soup Kitchen is a new initiative founded in 2019, created to encourage young people between the ages of 18-30 to volunteer and give back to the community.
We are currently trying to eradicate all costs and continue to provide this as a free service to the vulnerable and homeless individuals who benefit from the social inclusion, free food, free clothes and free CV workshops that we offer.
Currently, our biggest hindrance is the venue hire fee – we would prefer to use the funds that we have received, to put back into the initiative, to allow the Soup Kitchen to grow and to stay afloat. Our aim is to open more throughout the week and month and expand the initiative to the wider London area.
This is where you come in. We have created this Just Giving Page for anyone who is unable to donate their time to volunteer, but can afford to donate monetary provisions to cover the cost of our venue hire for the rest of the year. At present, our founder is paying for all costs which, as I am sure you can understand is a massive strain. But due to the passion and drive that she has as well as all of the volunteers, we do sincerely hope that you can assist in such a great initiative in helping us.
