The Olympathon is an event which OSFC have been running since 2012, this is based around the Olympic games and will be taking part in over 20 different sports and activities. This event will be running for 26.2 hours which replicates the distance of the Olympic Marathon.
This year we will be hosting our annual ‘Olympathon XIII’ event to raise money for Brain Tumour Research; this charity mission is to increase the population of the UK to invest into brain tumours. Their goal is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. The reason that their mission is to increase the investment of Brain Tumour Research is because one of three people in the UK know someone who is affected with Brain Tumour.
Brain Tumours can affect anyone of all ages, and Brain Tumour continues to kill children and kills adults under the age of 40 more than any other cancer yet, to date, just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.

The event will be running Thursday 26th March - Friday 27th March 2026
Please donate what you can, every donation counts and is very much appreciated.
The Donations will be split with half going to our chosen charity and half towards our Olympathon fund so that events like this can reoccur and we can continue to donate to various charities in this annual event.
