I've raised £12000 to fund improvements to Ombersley play area

I'm mum to two small boys and we spend a lot of time at our local park in Ombersley. It's in a lovely setting, but in desperate need of refurbishment.
The play area was last upgraded over 20 years ago and is now in dire need of regeneration, with some pieces having already been removed for safety reasons.
Local children urgently need safe, stimulating and inclusive play equipment, appealing to a wider range of ages, especially as it is the only facility of its kind for some distance. We have received over 50 testimonials from local people confirming the immediate need, and also indicating improvements they would like to see.
A small group of us came together last year to establish the Ombersley Play Area Action Group to raise funds for refurbishment. We are aiming to raise £12,000 over the next year to fund the first round of improvements. If we raise enough, this could include replacement of the climbing frame with an exciting centerpiece and installation of a basket swing. Other improvements could include a see-saw, a new springy, a timber trail and picket fence.
We really need your donations so we can realise our vision for local children and families!
Please consider what you could give:
• £50 would buy 2 grass mats (surfacing)
• £100 would buy some stepping logs
• £200 would buy a tenth of a nest swing, which could be used by disabled children and weary (grand)parents!
• £500 would buy a tenth of a new feature climbing frame / slide combo, a new springy or some chin-up bars
• £700 would buy a wobble bridge or half a see-saw
• £1000 would buy monkey bars
Please support us and get involved in any way you can and let's get a great playground for Ombersley!!
