Story

Honouring the 2,200 fallen of The Battle of Blenheim.

On the 13th August 1704, at The Battle of Blenheim, 2,200 British officers and soldiers gave their lives in service of their country.

In their memory, 1 Platoon, Blenheim Company of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst will undertake a physically demanding commemorative challenge on the 26th of March to honour each of the fallen.

The Challenge:

2,200 casualty drags - one repetition for every life lost.

Each repetition 17.04m - symbolising the year of the battle, 1704.

The Cause:

This event will raise funds for three different charities.

The Army Benevolent Fund - supporting soldiers, veterans and their families in times of hardship.

The Sandhurst Trust - providing vital assistance to the Sandhurst community.

St Catherine's Hospice - delivering specialist palliative care in Crawley (a cause close to 1 Platoon's heart).

Your Support:

Your support of this event will directly contribute to a worthy cause whilst honouring the legacy of the 2,200 fallen.

Please join us in our mission to assist these charities in facilitating their essential and life-changing care.

No rep unremembered. No sacrifice forgotten.
