Story
The current pandemic has been extremely unkind on everyone around the globe, and like all other, OneStop Cricket Cricket is finding it extremely difficult to keep afloat to manage the day to day running of the community cricket club.
We are a not for profit community cricket club based in Bradford and play in the Dales Council Cricket League.
Our Aim is to promote the sport in the local community and encourage more people to play the game. Sports builds a number of qualities in individuals. It not only makes you competative but it also builds your confidence. It gives you leadership qualities with never die attitute and also allows you to keep fit. Such qualities are important and extremely useful in every walk of life.
As a club we also assist local community by providing food to feed the homeless and shelter homes as part of our commitment to social responsibilities.
Our season runs from April until September. The running costs are in excess of £4500, currently managed by the players and donations from the club management. Running costs increase every year and due to such high costs we are unable to afford pre-season training sessions, clothing and equipment for the club.
We are pledging for this crowd funding so we can manage the running of the club, bring the local community together, run free cricket sessions aiming at kids, however all are welcome, and also assist the local community by feeding the homeless.
We will be arranging outdoor training sessions from 11:15am to 12:15pm completely free at Low Springs, Tong Park, Meadowside Rd, Baildon, Shipley BD17 7LJ. The training sessions will be held on the following dates, weather permitting.
