We are looking for start up funding in order to develop our community project, 'Open Space Studios'. After years of development and careful planning, Open Space Studios CIC was established in 2020. With initial funding raise from many community event fundraisers and small grants we were able to transform the old Oswestry library into a thriving movement centre. However, a mere 8 weeks after our initial opening, we were forced to close again due to COVID-19 restrictions. We are looking for our communities support to acquire more funding, to keep our studios open.

‘Open Space Studios’ is an initiative to promote mental well-being, healthy living and community togetherness through movement, dance and other creative arts. The heart of the initiative is to use the creative arts as a platform for inspiring, motivating and encouraging all members of society to lead happy and healthy lifestyles. A creative hub will provide an affordable space for artistic individuals to deliver a variety of community activities, from street dance to yoga, Open Space Studios will be a home shared by all. An innovative hub that provides opportunities, breaking down the barriers that may prevent people from being involved in the arts. Open Space Studios will invest by giving back all of their profits to the community providing free and discounted opportunities for the youth, disabled and elderly, ensuring that no individual in the community is left without access to the arts.
