    Story

This year we are competing in the SALTIRE 24 hour endurance race, we have a SOLO competitor and a Team of 5 aiming to complete as many laps as they can! It will be tough but it is for a great cause so please support this project.

    WHY SUPPORT US THOUGH?

Last year through multiple fundraising events we successfully raised over £6000, this provided us with the chance to purchase much needed kit and equipment for the Warriors Project that is now actively supporting Veterans at a private woodland in the NE Scotland.

“What you are doing is so fantastic and I just hope you understand how much you are positively impacting people’s lives”

After the positive feedback we have had, we now aim to operate all year round but to do this we need to create a semi-permanent woodland retreat including offgrid accommodation huts/shelters, a composting toilet and shower. We already have Veterans that can help onsite and this also provides them with continued support and opportunity's to be around other like minded individuals.

The workshop was absolutely amazing, I honestly had an amazing, chilled, peaceful & relaxing time in such an incredible environment”

Op Cairngorms has also released a new Blue beacon programme specific to our emergency services, we have dates in the diary and plan on providing much needed burnout prevention workshops to nurses, paramedics and other members of the emergency services however to do this we need to be able to cover the costs initially until official funding can be provided.

The favourite part of the workshop was the chat and getting to know each other and actually having the time to sit down and share stories and create a strong bond for the short time being together”

The on-going support has been incredible and we look forward to showing you all the progression we make over the next 120days.

    Corporate Sponsorship

If you are part of a bigger organisation we can provide you with team building days and overnight experiences. We can even help with your company ESG reporting.

£500 donation will earn you a full days team building workshop for 6 people, this is 10am - 4pm and includes all activities and campfire lunch.

£1000 donation will earn you an overnight workshop for up to 6 people, this will see your chosen group deploy out into the wild and thrive. It will be educational, team building and exhilarating.

Dates are subject to availability and additional members can be added at an extra cost.

The Team! Huge thankyou to everyone that supported us on this challenge! In short we all all did amazing The team suffered an injury which put them down to 3 early afternoon but they did not stop...in fact they actually set a higher goal of reaching 100miles collectively - and by 0700hrs they had achieved it with Roger bringing in yet another lap at a very quick pace. Each member had then completed 30+ miles. The camaraderie they showed and how they supported each other lap after lap was just fitting to the ethos of Operation Cairngorms.
