Story
Sharon Spainhour is a member of a very special support group. We are all grandparents of children with cancer. A few days ago, Sharon was involved in a very serious car accident, which has left her with several skull fractures, 92 staples in her head, and internal injuries. She plays an important part in her grandson's care, helping her daughter when Matthew has hospital appointments etc. The accident means that she is no longer able to work, and now needs 24hr care. Unfortunately her (U.S.) medical insurance does not cover this, so we, her friends in the support group, have started this appeal to help provide the care she needs to get back on her feet and be the mum and grandma she was before the accident.

Sharon was home briefly, but she is now back in the hospital with a serious infection in her heart and lungs. She really needs our help and support, so please share and donate so she can have the care she needs. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, but we still have a long way to go.
