Story

In August 2021, as a celebration of my 50th year on this planet (I must be mad) I'm running the 268 mile Pennine Way in 10 days. This is a real challenge as I suffer from M.E. or Chronic Fatigue and will be expecting my mind and body to average roughly a marathon a day for 10 days come rain or shine. Yikes.

Because this is a pretty momentous challenge I'm aiming to raise £2680 for three charities I support. Those are:

1) CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) supporting mental health and particularly male suicide.

2) CARA (Essex) the Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse who have helped my wife a lot with counselling.

3) Gabriella's Grab for Independence supporting the Superstar Gabriella (aka SuperG) who is the daughter of a friend. Gabriella has Cerebral Palsy and needs to get help to give her the best chance of a great life.

I'll be videoing the whole experience including all the training. You can follow all the shenanigans on my YouTube Channel Neil Bailey

I'll be leaving updates and links to videos through this page and Insta @itsneilbailey .

Every single penny raised will be split evenly between the three charities.
