Every year thousands of children suffer as victims of domestic abuse. The early intervention that Operation Encompass provides takes down those barriers to learning that domestic abuse creates enabling children to access their learning in school as their emotional health and well being is being fully supported. We will achieve this through 'Operation Encompass' which currently, when a participating Police Force has been made aware of the presence of a child or children in a domestic abuse situation they undertake to inform that child's school by 0900 the following morning. The child will then be received into school by a trained key adult who will work with the child to provide support and security and ensuring that the child is properly prepared for class which may include provision of uniform, breakfast and even wash kit.This will help eliminate the danger of bullying from other children and that their emotional needs are met to have the most productive and secure day at school.

The beneficiaries of this scheme are the children, their class mates and of course the teaching staff.

Operation Encompass is a brand new charity, having registered in September 2016. The Co-founders of the charity have already successfully persuaded 15 Police Forces to adopt Operation Encompass through their own efforts and self financing. Now after wide spread media exposure on BBC Victoria Derbyshire Programme and Radio 4 i-PM as well as local coverage there is increased interest at home and abroad and a real opportunity to help 100s of thousands of children. We currently have £800 and are desperate to export our brilliant concept as rapidly as possible. Please help us to help thousands of innocent children.
