D unit officers from Coventry Police will attempt to climb Mount Snowdon in their public order / riot gear including Nato helmet and a round shield!

We would like to make a sizable donation to Archie‘s Smile, a charity inspired by Archie, who happens to have Down Syndrome. They provide support for children with Down Syndrome and their familes in Coventry.

They facilitate a weekly group that meet to support families who have pre school aged children with down syndrome.

They offer a stay and play environment with lots of fun and educational activities for the children and a welcoming and relaxed environment for parents.

They offer speech and language therapy for the children in order to develop skills ready for school. We also have annual trips for all the families and provide resources and training when needed.

The charity also provide information packs to the local hospital giving up to date and relevant information and support at birth and diagnosis of a baby with down syndrome.
