    Story

Over the last year we have been trying to support 18 little people who are all disabled and were all abandoned by their parents at some point in their lives.
They all live together in one house which doesn't have much in it except a toilet and one sofa and they don't even have a kitchen!
The children are delightful and seem to be happy but just need a little help to keep them going and to support themselves moving forward!
All the children help each other when trying to eat & drink and they sit and play together most of the day & night. They are so over joyed to see us when we visit and the smile on their faces is enough to make it so worthwhile.

I would like to make a difference to these children by helping them to grow their own vegetables and fruit plus help them develop so they can continue living happily together - they receive about 60,000 Naira a month for nappies, food, electric which is about £120!! so not much at all when you consider the amount of money nappies are - which they use loads of because most of the children find it very hard to walk etc. some cannot get to the bathroom. The children are looked after by a man & his wife who are doing a fantastic job with very little help or money but they have both taken on a big responsibility and look after the children extremely well.

I hope you don't mind me posting this information, I really want to continue helping the children and to encourage their development. We also want to try to provide them with the basic things like electricity and a fully functional bathroom, kitchen which would make their lives so much easier - can you imagine trying to bath 18 children in the dark or trying to get them to bed when they can't walk or see in the dark!!!.

I know there are lots of orphanages all over the world but I feel those who have disabilities sometimes get overlooked. If anyone can help me please let me know or if anyone could donate anything, that would be fabulous. Thank you xx #LetsMakeADifference
