I've raised £12000 to Support 36 orphans (across twelve disaster and poverty-stricken countries) through a sponsored team skydiving event.

When our students set the bar so dizzyingly high with their piety and generosity this year, we praised their efforts, their dedication and their irrepressible need to help those less fortunate. We realised pretty quickly that praising them simply wasn't enough; we had to follow their example. And, when surrounded by young philanthropists who wish to better themselves and the heartbreaking world they see each day in the news, what better example is there?
We wanted to give other children these same opportunities, and this has (somehow) culminated in this semi-sponsored skydiving challenge; a challenge where we (won't really) be putting our lives at threat of flattening in the hopes that the mere risk of bodily harm will help us convince you to donate to this wonderful cause.
Our target of £12,000 will help us sponsor and support three orphans in each of the following twelve countries for a full year:
Albania
Bangladesh
Burma
Chechnya
India
Iraq
Kashmir
Palestine
Philippines
Syria
Sudan
Pakistan.
The kids in these countries know only suffering, war, hunger and destitution. They aren't always afforded a safe place to lay down their heads, let alone an education and hope for the future. They can't ask you for help and hope, so we're asking on their behalf. Insha'Allah, with the support we all provide them, they can write newer, happier stories for themselves, and their people.
